Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a FestFriends account. You are responsible for providing accurate account information and protecting access to your account.

2. What FestFriends provides

FestFriends helps adults discover festivals, connect with other attendees, communicate, participate in festival communities, and optionally use location-based festival features. Festival information may be supplied by organizers or community members and may change.

3. Your conduct

You agree to follow the Community Guidelines and applicable law. You may not harass others, impersonate people or organizations, commit fraud, distribute malicious content, exploit minors, interfere with the service, or use FestFriends to facilitate unlawful or dangerous activity.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give FestFriends permission to host, process, display, resize, transmit, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate and improve the features you choose to use. You are responsible for having the rights needed to submit your content.

5. Moderation

FestFriends may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, investigate abuse, or protect the service. Available appeal tools may be used when offered.

6. Optional Live Location

Live Location is voluntary. You control whether to share it and can stop sharing. Location accuracy can vary, and FestFriends must not be relied on for emergency navigation, rescue, or personal safety decisions.

7. Festivals and third parties

FestFriends is not the organizer, ticket seller, security provider, transportation provider, or emergency service for festivals unless explicitly stated. Festival schedules, rules, availability, and third-party services can change independently of FestFriends.

8. Service availability

FestFriends may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We work to operate the service reliably, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.

9. Account termination

You may delete your account using available account controls. Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or privacy-preserving aggregate analytics as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

These Terms may be updated as FestFriends evolves. The current version and effective date will be posted here. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.
