Burning Man

These community totals use privacy-safe aggregate festival activity. “Checked in” counts members who checked in at least once during the edition. Walking distance, location-sharer count, location-sharing rate, average distance, peak simultaneous sharers, sharing-session totals, and average sessions per sharer are shown only when enough members opted into location sharing for the existing privacy threshold. The location-sharing rate compares privacy-eligible sharers with privacy-eligible recorded attendees, and distance uses the festival’s local miles/kilometers convention. No individual routes, per-member distances, session histories, or movement histories are exposed.
